step up international is a nonprofit aimed at empowering youth in africa to participate in their local communities. it began in botswana, but with an eye towards growing to other countries. the identity i created for step up had to be able to expand with their new NGO.
the logo is ultra-legible, in order to perform well in international communities. Meanwhile, geometric lettering mimics building blocks. an earthy palette is reminiscent of the african landscape without being a cliche.
