step up international

step up international is a nonprofit aimed at empowering youth in africa to participate in their local communities. it began in botswana, but with an eye towards growing to other countries. the identity i created for step up had to be able to expand with their new NGO.

the logo is designed to be ultra-legible to perform well in international communities, and the geometric lettering mimic building blocks. an earthy palette is reminiscent of the african landscape without being a cliche.

the logo incorporated a translucent sub-label to allow the standard "international" to be replaced by any location desired.
